David Sager Clay, beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather died peacefully at home on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023. He lived a long and wonderful life; he was 100 years old. Mr. Clay was born to Lottie Hill and William Clifton Clay on Aug. 29, 1923, in Danville, VA. Dave served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946.
